Do you have a site based on Kentico Portal Engine?
Here’s why you should move to MVC sooner than later:
Ever since 2015 Kentico has been offering 2 versions of its platform. Kentico Portal Engine and Kentico MVC. First version was intended for websites using ASP.NET Web Forms as its code strategy, so you may even know it as Kentico Web Forms.
But Web Forms is slowly getting obsolete in terms of .NET development as MVC becomes the new industry standard.
With the release of Kentico 12 all clients were advised to migrate from Portal Engine to MVC. Websites using ASP.NET Web Forms will no longer be supported by Kentico by the end of 2023.
Do you want to maintain a fully supported and regularly updated website? You have to transition to MVC.
We can help you with that.
